I approach design by looking beyond finishes, furniture, and decoration to understand the fundamentals of a space.
My engineering background shapes the way I see proportion, geometry, construction, and the relationship between design and how things are made. I pay attention to how daylight changes a room, how materials balance each other, and how the eye moves through a space.
